How does grape seed stimulate hair growth?

The effectiveness of proanthocyanidins in hair regrowth is said to be similar to the drug, Minoxidil. Other follow-up studies have confirmed this doubling of the anagen phase and rapid hair growth caused by proanthocyanidins. Grape seed extract also promotes skin health, which contributes to hair growth.

Grape seed extract can be purchased from most supermarkets and health stores.  The most popular type of grape seed extract is supplement form, and the daily dosage should not exceed  250mg.

Grape seed extract will not cure hair loss, but used in conjunction with other hair beneficiary vitamins, and it can help prevent the pattern of thinning strands and stimulate hair cells, thus paving the way for healthy hair growth.
