How To Make Your Hair Thicker

5 Tips on how to make your hair look and feel thicker.

It doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, most of us want luscious, strong, thick looking hair. Stronger hair is better hair.  It looks more attractive, and can even make you look and feel more confident.

The problem is, not all of us are lucky enough to have such thick hair.  In fact, most men and women have the complete opposite! Thinning hair is a huge concern for many of us, and unless your hair loss type is temporary, there's little chance of it going away.

So, how does one combat the appearance of thinning hair? Here, we give you five key tips on how to reduce the rating of thinning, increase hair growth, and enhance the appearance of your strands.

Use Thickening Shampoo

If you want to add more natural thickness and condition to your hair, then choosing the right shampoo is the first thing you need to do. Be sure to choose a shampoo with a thick texture, and one that contains the right blend of hair beneficiary ingredients.

If the shampoo lathers well, then this is a very good sign. It will naturally make your hair feel thicker during your wash. A highly recommended additive to use for your hair is Argan Oil.  Argan oil has a number of benefits when used on hair. It can act as a moisturiser for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp. It can also promote the growth of healthy, strong hair as opposed to thin, brittle hair.

Choose an Argan Oil based shampoo for best results, and avoid using any sort of conditioner. Conditioners make the hair look thinner.

Add Styling Product to Wet Hair

After your shower, give your hair a quick rub with your towel, so it's partially dry. Then add some styling product to your damp locks, rubbing it in evenly throughout your scalp, particularly at the top.

Try and use a matt clay or a dry moose, and avoid gels and more liquid based products.  The matt based products will make your hair look natural and voluminous, whereas the liquid based products will make your hair look greasy, and feel flat.

Blow-Dry Your Hair

It is important that you dry your hair using a blow-dryer, right after you have applied the product to your semi-wet hair.  Blow-drying your hair, with product in it, will dramatically enhance the appearance of your locks.

Use Hair Spray

Once your hair is blow-dried, you should have a very thick, and out of control, looking barnet. Simply add some product to your hair to get the right style you want, and then finish off with some hair spray to hold it in place.

Again, try and opt for anti-shine hair sprays, as they tend to have a habit of making hair look greasy.

Take Hair Vitamins

Finally, if you suffer from thinning hair, then make sure you are taking the right vitamins for your locks.  Our hair is hugely dependant on vitamins and minerals, all of which ae impossible to get into our daily diet through food alone.

That's where multi-vitamin hair supplements come into play. They help reduce the amount of hair fall and increase the rate of hair growth. Many men and woman have found multi-vitamin hair supplements to be a particularly helpful treatment for baldness.
