Be warned though, too much collagen can cause your skin to stretch, thicken, and harden. It can also cause damage to internal organs, such as the heart, lungs, and kidneys, but this is from very extreme use.  A safe dosage of collagen should be safe.

Is Collagen better than Biotin for hair?


With Biotin supplementation, you can help increase the growth of your body's cells thus promoting the strength of your hair, skin, and nails. Biotin, blended with collagen and keratin, can help connect the tissue and circulation, thus leading to stronger hair.  Both biotin and collagen are beneficial to the hair in similar ways.

Collagen can be used or taken in many different forms, including supplement, serum, shampoo, and powder.  All types of collagen are regarded as effective so it really is a case of which one you are most comfortable with.
