Top 50 Hair Loss Treatments: #20 Procerin for Men

#20 Procerin for Men

Procerin is a hair supplement designed specifically for men who suffer from early stages of male pattern baldness. Procerin also comes as a topical foam, containing various vitamins, minerals and nutrients that can have positive effects on thinning hair.  While ingredients such as saw palmetto have been shown to help block the formation of DHT (the cause of hair loss), there is no substantial evidence that Procerin can encourage renewed hair growth or prevent the pattern of hair loss.

Does Procerin work?

These products are not FDA approved as treatments for alopecia. This is a natural supplement and foam, therefore it has much more lenient regulations when it comes to the statements that it, as a company, can make about the product.

Procerin claims it can prevent hair loss and regrow hair in just weeks, and in a 90-day observational clinical study, it was concluded that 75% of the men said Procerin was effective in slowing down or stopping hair fall.  However, there are a number of limitations in this study that make is difficult to assess whether Procerin really is an effective method of hair loss prevention.

There are only two clinically proven hair loss treatments that have been medically approved and licenced to help prevent and reverse hair loss. These are finasteride (labelled as Propecia) and Minoxidil (most recognised as Regaine/Rogaine). Procerin supplement and topical foam act as safe alternatives to the medically approved treatments that can come with unwanted side-effects.

Procern is the best selling hair supplement for men in the USA, but its popularity has fallen in recent years due to the emergence of new and more advaned natural hair health supplement.  If this Top 50 Hair Loss Treatments list was conducted three to four years ago, then Procerin products would rank much higher on this list, but as it stands, it lands at a very respectable number 20 on this list.

You can purchase Procerin its official website.
