In recent weeks, the internet has been going crazy for clove water and its effectiveness for stimulating hair growth. The question is; how accurate are these claims?

So, in this article, we take a look at clove water and its association with hair growth.

Does clove water stimulate hair growth?

It is true that clover water can help with the growth of hair. Clove water is rich in essential nutrients which are required for the growth of healthy strands. The antioxidants, Vitamins and minerals such as iron, potassium, iodine and sodium nourish the hair follicles and stimulate hair growth.

Clove water contains the key blend of nutrients that add strength to the hair. If used regularly, clove water can even aid in the prevention of hair loss. Clove water is rich in vitamin K, as well as eugenol, which encourages better scalp circulation and stimulates hair growth during the hair growth phase.

On what scale does clove water aid in hair growth?

Although it is packed with nutrients that benefit hair growth, clover water will not cure or treat hair loss. Clove water's main purpose is to help the growth of hair. It does not stimulate hair regrowth. Clover water can aid in hair loss prevention, but only on a minimal scale.

Benefits of clove water

Drinking clove water daily can help boost the immune system and protect against infections and cases of flu. Clove water is an excellent source of healthy vitamins and minerals that can promote the health and immunity. It is also a great source of manganese, vitamin k, vitamin c, calcium, and magnesium. Clove oil is often used to treat dental infections.

How to use clove water

Clover water can be taken/used in two ways. You can drink it, or you can use it as a topical application. Neither method has been approved for hair growth, but the most popular way to use it is to spray it onto the scalp.

You can either buy clover water, ready made, or you can make it yourself by adding water to a bowl of cloves spice. Then pour into a container with a spray cap.

Conclusion

If you are looking to boost your hair growth, then clove water can certainly help. It has been shown to help boost the strength and speed of hair growth, however, it does not stimulate hair regrowth.

If you are experiencing androgenic alopecia (pattern baldness) then close water will not treat the condition. A bit like Biotin (Vitamin B7), clove water can aid in the stimulation of hair growth, but it does not treat or cure any hair loss types.

If you are looking to treat hair loss directly, then your best solution would be to either use minoxidil (5% solution for men, 2% solution for women) or keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) serum.
