Is Harry Styles Going Bald?

Is Harry Styles going bald

Is Harry Styles losing his hair? Through the years of Harry's hair...

There aren't many famous faces whose hair gets talked about quite as much as former One Direction singer, Harry Styles.

Even from a young age, Harry's hair has constantly been at the centre point of discussion and debate - for good and bad reasons.

There has been ripe speculation that pop sensation, Styles, is actually bald, and has resorted to wearing a wig, in recent years, but it's unlikely that these rumours are true, because it is evident, just by looking at it, that Harry's hair is indeed his own.

Styles himself has admitted that he does suffer from thinning hair, but how much of this is true? Let's take a look at Harry's hair through the years, and try to establish if he is indeed experiencing some from of hair loss.

We first laid eyes on Harry back in 2010 when he appeared in the British singing contest, The X Factor. The baby faced boy from Redditch came onto our screens sporting a floppy fringe, brushed sideways.

It's far too early to know if Harry was on his way to experiencing hair loss, despite not being able to see his hairline, which was covered by his hair.

Fast forward a few years, and Styles grew his hair into a long, pushed back style. This meant we could see his hairline for the first time, and it showed a clear widows peak, even at such a young age.

This, of course, could just have been his natural hairline, so it was unclear whether Harry was going through early stages of male pattern baldness, at this point.

As Harry made his way into his 20s, he cut his hair shorter, but continued to push his locks back, which means we've always been able to keep an eye on his hairline.

Even just a couple of years after his longer haired look, we can see that Harry's hairline has receded further. The widows peak has become more pronounced, with recession at the temples. At this point, you would diagnose Styles with early stages of male pattern baldness.

Fast forward to today, and Harry's hairline has receded even more. In the space of about ten years, his hairline went from a shallow 'm' shape, into a sharp 'v' shape.

If Harry does not use treatments for his hair loss, then the hairline recession will become more aggressive as he makes his way into his 30s. He should expect diffuse thinning at the crown, too, which means, by the age of 40, Harry will most likely have lost the vast majority of his hair.

Can hair loss be prevented?

There is no cure for hair loss, but there are treatments and surgical  procedures on the market that can help reduce excessive hair fall, and support the function of healthy hair growth.

With money being no obstacle, Styles would be able to get the very best treatment for his hair loss, should he wish to do so. But, maybe he's perfectly content with his thinning hair. He never tries to hide his hair loss, which is a very confident and attractive trait, in itself.
