Hair Regrowth Before and After: 6-Month Androgenetic Alopecia Results

Male hair regrowth before and after 6 months of treating androgenetic alopecia

Androgenetic Alopecia — 6 Month Results

Profile: Male, 38
Hair Loss Type: Androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss)
Primary Concern: Overall thinning, with more noticeable loss around the crown
Review Period: 6 months

Background

This 38-year-old male had been experiencing progressive overall thinning consistent with androgenetic alopecia, with the crown becoming the most noticeably affected area.

Rather than relying on a single treatment, he followed a combined hair loss routine designed to address shedding, scalp health and hair growth from several different angles.

Hair Loss Routine

His routine consisted of:

  • HR23+® Hair Restoration Supplement — taken daily

  • Minoxidil — used consistently to support hair growth

  • Nizoral shampoo — incorporated into his regular scalp-care routine

  • Microneedling — used alongside the topical treatment programme

Results

The first noticeable change was a reduction in shedding. This became apparent at approximately two months, with fewer hairs being lost during washing and general grooming.

Over the following months, the improvement became increasingly visible.

By month six, there was a noticeable increase in overall hair density, with the most significant improvement seen around the crown. Areas that had previously appeared increasingly sparse showed visible coverage and regrowth.

The result was not simply reduced hair fall. The crown appeared considerably fuller after six months of consistent use of the combined routine.

6-Month Assessment

✓ Reduced shedding
✓ Improved overall density
✓ Visible crown regrowth
✓ Improvements first noticed from around month two

Hair Loss Review Centre Verdict

This is a strong example of what can potentially be achieved through a consistent, multi-treatment approach to androgenetic alopecia.

It is important to note that because HR23+, minoxidil, Nizoral and micro needling were used together, the improvement cannot be attributed to any one component of the routine.

However, the reduction in shedding from approximately two months, followed by increasingly visible density and crown improvement through to month six, represents a very encouraging response.

Overall result: Significant improvement after six months.
