Being Bald is Cool

Being bald doesn't have to be so bad - in fact, it can be pretty super, depending on which way you look at it.  Having no hair can make many of us look pretty badass, and so that's why, for a bit of fun, we decided to go through some of the Marvel and DC characters to find the coolest superheroes and villains with no hair.

Professor X  (X-Men)

Being a superhero isn't all about brute strength - sometimes all it takes to conquer your enemies is a strong mind. Professor X (above) is one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel comic book world, and he just wouldn't be as cool as he is with a full head of hair.

Luke Cage 

With unbreakable powers caused by a sabotaged experiment, Luke Cage is a bit like the Bruce Willis character from the movie Unbreakable. These strong, unbreakable characters wouldn't look as tough with a strong head of hair.

Martian Manhunter 

Ok, the dude is an Alien from Mars, but this doens't disguise the fact he's a pretty badass looking character, and certainly one of the most important in DC's Justice League.  Give this guy a head of hair and he would probably look like something that resembles a clown!

Vision

You may have noticed Vision's debut on the big screen in the Avengers movie.  His style, costume and powers are among the best in the comic book hero world, and what's more, he's bald - and he carries it off perfectly!

Silver Surfer

Voted the coolest comic book character in 2014, Silver Surfer has to be one of the most iconic superpowers we have ever seen, and yes, you guessed it, he's bald, and we wouldn't have him any other way.

Lex Luthor

How could we forget the best criminal mind in the whole of the DC universe, Lex Luthor.  If saving lives isn't particularly your thing, then Lex proves you can look sharp, suave and sophisticated with a shaved head.
