5 Amazing Tricks To Stop Hair Loss and Regrow Hair

5 ways to stop hair loss

Prevent hair loss and promote hair growth with five tricks that will shock you...

Beating hair loss isn't easy, and despite there being a wide array of treatments on the market, we're still yet to find a cure for the soul-sapping condition.

But fear not, there are some treatments on the market that can slow down and prevent hair fall, and help support the healthy function of healthy hair growth, in both men and women.

However, treating hair loss can be expensive, and that is the main reason so many people give up on their hair care routines. Combining a range of hair loss treatments into a hair care routine can cost an individual up to £150 per month. This, for most people, is not sustainable.

All is not lost, though, because you'll be surprised to know that there are some handy tricks (either cheap or completely cost-free) that you can do to help prevent excessive hair shedding, and promote healthy hair growth.

It should be noted that none of the following tricks are medically approved treatments for hair loss, however, there are many hair loss sufferers who are implementing these tricks into their daily routine, and are experiencing vast improvements in their hair.

So, in no particular order, here are five things you should try if you are looking to tackle hair loss...

Headstands

By doing a headstand, you can dramatically improve blood circulation in the scalp, which helps in reducing hair loss, thinning of hair and balding. This left-field practice can also help in new hair growth and, and amazingly, prevents greying of hair.

Doing headstands helps the dormant hair follicles to reach their maximum growth capacity and thus improve hair growth. There are many people who claim that by doing headstands daily, they are reversing the effects of baldness and thinning hair.

The headstand can be held for any amount of time as long as it is steady and comfortable and no excess effort is used to stay in the posture. However, it is suggested that a maximum of 3-5 minutes is a safe and sufficient amount of time to do a headstand.

Micro Needling

Who would have thought that piercing tiny holes into your skin can actually help you prevent hair loss and regrow hair! Well, that seems to be the case with micro needling.

While used as an anti-aging skin treatment, micro needling has also been shown to be an effective treatment for hair loss. The same process of creating wounds in the skin, using a derma roller or derma stamp, is also thought to regenerate the health of the hair follicles.

Micro needling just once a week, with a 1.5mm device, or twice a week with a 0.5mm device, can help generate hair growth by wounding the skin and forcing it to heal, producing protein and collagen, which fuels the rebuilding of skin cells and hair follicle growth. Derma devices are cheap, and can be purchased for under £10.

Onion Juice

It's likely that you have already heard of onion juice being an effective treatment for hair loss. Well, apparently it's true - soaking your hair in onion juice can indeed help combat baldness.

When rubbed into the hair and scalp, onion juice can provide extra sulfur to support strong and thick hair, thus preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. The sulfur from onions may also help promote collagen production, and much like with micro needling, the production of collagen helps the production of healthy skin cells and hair growth.

Apply onion juice to your scalp around twice a week. It's cheap, and definitely worth a try.

Scalp Massage

Treating hair loss doesn't have to be painful, expensive, and inconvenient - it can actually be be quite enjoyable and relaxing, too.

Extensive research shows that a scalp massage increases hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles, thus stimulating the follicles to produce thicker hair strands. It's also thought that a scalp massage can help stimulate the activity of blood flow in the scalp, which encourages hair growth.

You can either get regular massages by someone else, or you can purchase a head massage device that can be used in the shower, or wherever is most convenient for you.

Meditation

One of the most common causes of hair loss is stress. Stress-related hair fall is common in both men and women, and it can result in excessive hair loss all over the scalp.

Most cases of stress-related hair loss can be reversed, as it is usually a temporary type of baldness, but some people suffer from it for longer periods of time.

Meditation has shown to reduce stress in both men and women. As little as ten minutes of mediation practiced daily can help to reset your emotions, calm your mind, and reduce stress levels.  This has shown to reduce hair loss that is caused by stress.
